Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA)

Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA)

The TAA program provides assistance to individuals who lost their jobs due to international trade such as an increase in imports or shifts in production outside of the United States. Individuals who have been TAA “certified” are eligible for a number of benefits and services based on what is needed to help them find a job. These services include employment counseling, workshops, career assessment, job search assistance, relocation assistance, and training. You can learn more about the program through the Department of Labor’s website. How to File a Petition
