Business Development Project Manager: This position works closely with the Executive Director to plan, direct, coordinate and oversee projects related to meeting the employment and training needs of business and industry in the nine county Local Workforce Development Area. A bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field is required, a Master’s degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a knowledge of regional and local industries, a minimum of five years experience in solution-oriented service and sales, consulting, and/or executive-level experience including the management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership, production methods and coordination of people. Experience in developing business plans, understanding of marketing solutions, experience in the development of pricing strategies and a proven record of achieving performance targets is required. Knowledge of Community College Workforce programs and leveraging of resources to meet the needs of the business and industry customer is highly valued.
