Job search, job placement assistance and labor market information are just a few of the basic services offered by Workforce Solutions Northeast Texas. In order to provide you with various means of communication, our workforce centers offer conveniences such as the use of computers, telephones, and fax machines to help you facilitate your job search.

Online job search activities have been made easier for Texans with the state's new comprehensive job search resource, www.workintexas.com. Additional services include assessments, the development of an individual employment plan, and career counseling and planning. Re-employment services offer you assistance in finding a new job. If you need re-training and are eligible, we can provide you with training to develop marketable skills to help you get a job. We will link you to training opportunities in your community, including both occupational and basic skills training.

The Work Certified program is also available to help you refresh and establish your understanding of basic business skills such as: reading comprehension, computer basics, business math, resume writing and interview skills, customer service, work maturity, and business writing. Upon graduation, you are identified as “Work Certified” and provided with a certification card. This service is designed to make you more marketable to employers. It also ensures employers that they are hiring qualified employees with strong work ethics.
