Resource Room
The Workforce Solutions Northeast Texas centers are designed to help you find employment and/or enhance your marketable skills. Several options are available to meet your needs whether you are seeking a new job, a better job, or your first job. Resource rooms located in each of the workforce centers ensure you have access to a variety of services to help you in your search.
The following services are available at no cost to job seekers. However, if you were to pay for these services somewhere else, they could cost up to $2,500.
Job Search Resources
Our resource library provides assistance in job searches and/or career exploration. Below is a sample of resources available.

- Mouse tutorial, Typing tutorial, 10-Key tutorial
- Labor Market Information and Career Exploration Software (Tracer & Oscar)
- Online access to all newspaper ads
- Copy, fax, phone, and mail service (limits apply)
- Catalogues on area schools and information on scholarships and career training
- Videos and books on job search, resume writing, interviewing techniques, careers, etc.
Networking and small group orientations may be the key to uncovering job openings and career development opportunities. Additional services offered at the workforce centers include:
- Job Search & Employment Success Workshops (Interviewing, Resume Writing, Job Search 101, etc.)
- Assessment of skills, interest and aptitude
- Computer-based training room
- Veteran Services
- Workforce Investment Act (WIA)
- Choices/Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)
- RIO
- Youth Services
- WIA Dislocated Worker
- Experience Works and Service Employment & Redevelopment (SER) "Over 55 program"
