Hiring Events

Workforce Solutions Northeast Texas hosts a number of hiring events annually across the region. Hiring events typically take place during the spring and summer months. We also host the annual "Red, White, and You! Hiring Event" for Veterans, each year in November. Both employers and job seekers can participate in these events for free. The hiring events allow employers to meet with and speak to a large number of potential applicants in a short amount of time.

Employers can request to schedule a hiring event at one of our Workforce Solutions offices. Single employer hiring events can help fill a number of open positions in a short amount of time. Workforce Solutions staff will help promote these events to local job seekers. Staff will also assist the employer by organizing the event and scheduling interviews as necessary.
